I am looking for a local dentist practice in Kettering, Northamptonshire. Where is your dental practice based?

Is the practice on the ground floor?

I am registered disabled, and cannot manage stairs. I need to know if your dental practice is on the ground floor?

Yes our practice is on ground level, which makes it easliy accesable to all our pateints.

I am an elderly pateint and find it difficult to climb up stairs. I need to know if the practice is on ground floor.

Yes we are on the ground floor. All our surgeries are located on the ground floor.

Do you do emergency appointments?

I have a tooth ache, and need to be seen as soon as possible as a emergency.

We do provide emergency appointments to all our patients. These appointments are usually for the same day or at the first convenience. Please ring as early as possible to ensure your best chance of being seen.

I'm not registered at your practice can i still be seen?

Yes we will still see you as a emergency patient even if your not with us at our practice.

How quickly can I be seen?

How long will i have to wait to be seen?

At our practice the appointments are normally booked for the same day or the next, we will always try to see you as soon as possible.

What if i cant be seen the same day?

we will always offer you the next available appointment which is usually the next day.

Do you do teeth whitening?

Can i get my teeth whitening at your practice?

Yes we do provide teeth whitening treatments,there are two different types of whitening that we can offer. One is carried out in the surgery by the dentist and his nurse. This procedure takes about a hour and gives instant results against light stains and discolouration.

The other treatment is started in the surgery by taking some impressions of your mouth,these come back as trays to which you apply the gel yourself at home.

How much will it brighten up my teeth?

Every pateint is different so results would depend on each indervidual case, but we are sure you will be happy with the results.

Do you do implants?

I have been looking at implants, and would like to know if you do them.

Yes our dentist does do implants at the surgery. We have had many patients who have had this treatment and are very happy with the service and the results. If you are interested or want to know more just call and we'll be happy to go over things.

How do i know if implants are the right option for me?

Well each case is different and this would be explained to you in the consultation with the dentist, to ensure you were fully informed of your options and the procedure it's self.

I have been wondering what dental implants are now for some time,can you explain to me please?

Tooth implants are the alternative to a removable denture and are the next best thing to your real teeth.It's a long process but our patients are more than happy with the outcome once it's complete.

The implants is a titanium screw which is surgically placed into the gum which is then left to heal, after this healing time the implant will be re-examined by the dentist to check how it is healing. Once it is ok the artificial tooth will be added on the the screw.

How can i get my treatment done when i'm to frightened?

At our surgery we know that some people have problems relaxing at the thought of dental treatments, which is why we offer a sedation option to those patients who need treatment but can't bare having it done.

Where do i have to travel to for the sedation?

The sedation is done at the surgery with our dentist and our nurses. We are based locally in the town centre and are easily accessed.

Can you sedate me for my treatment?

yes we do sedation for patients who are nervous of having treatment done. The sedation is proformed in the surgery while the treatent is carried out.

There are certain requirements for the sedation to be done ie health status and arrangments for after care for when you laeve the surgery.

I am currently on denplan, but want to change dentists do you take on denplan patients?

Yes, once your check up has been carried out and any treatment completed, we will then discuss your option about joining our practice.

What is denplan?,my friends are on it and i would like to find out more.

This is a pay monthly scheme which covers you and your family for most of your dental care. A lot of patients are now changing to denplan in stead of being seen privately.

Can i get finance at you practice?

We don't personally provide finance but we do work with denplan,which is a pay monthly firm who does finance.

How can i join denplan?

Once you have been seen by the dentist and any work is carried out to bring your mouth up to good oral health, you will then have to option to join denplan. Which you can discuss in your consultation.

I need new dentures and would like to know if you can help?

Yes we do offer our services for patients with dentures as we know that your smile is one of your main assets. Dentures are also a personal possessions to a lot of people and we aim to provide the best service to all.

We will try and get your original dentures back as soon as possible to lower the inconvenience of being left without your dentures.l

Is someone always able to take my call after hours?

We will always try to take your call, even after hours as the practice number is diverted to a mobile, which one of the nurses takes home.

I work weekdays so i cant make it, what about saturdays?

Yes we do offer saturday appointments to those who cant make it in through the week. These appoints do depend on bookings and availability at the time but we will always try our best to help.

Yes there is a printed price list on display in the surgery or if your not able to see one just ask.

Are these prices fixed

The prices are fixed but if there's any thing you are unsure about please just ask the dentist to explain things to you when you are in the surgery.

I am currently unable to leave my home, can you come to me?

Yes we do provide home visits to patients who cant make it down t us. It stops all the hassel of trying to sort things out i.e further assistants or help with transport.

what if i live to far to receive a home visit?

Well if you call us at the surgery we will have a chat and discuss the options that are open for you and see if we can work something out .
